Dr Marie-Anne Barthelemy is Secretary-General of SIMV (The French association of animal health industry representing manufacturers of medicines and diagnostics for animals).
Marie-Anne Barthelemy graduated as “Docteur Vétérinaire” (DVM) at the Veterinary College in Nantes 1988 . She has a Master degree in Marketing (ESSEC business school) and a diploma in virology ( Institut Pasteur Paris)
After working from 1989 to 1993 in Marketing in several Animal Health companies, she joined in 1993 the French association SIMV . At SIMV Dr Barthelemy started as Technical coordinator, then moved to Technical and Regulatory Affairs Director. She represented animal health industry in official committees, such as “Commission d’AMM” and “Commission Nationale de Pharmacovigilance”. She is the animal health industry representative in the current National action plan fighting antimicrobial resistance.
